Welcome Susie and SuperSeed Ice Creme to the Bayswater Business Precinct.

With twenty years experience in food innovation, founder Susie White knew that to make things better, she had to make better things.

As gluten-intolerant coeliac, she decided to make a plant based, vegan ice creme that was allergen-friendly for more people to enjoy.

We spoke to Susie recently as she completed her business move to Kilsyth, and how using the local supply chain for goods and services has been so beneficial.

“Some of the other local businesses I’ve worked in setting up this space are literally within 5 mins of my ice creme workshop in Kilsyth. They include Glenbrae Signs (window and ice creme cart decals), King Cooling and Heating (air conditioner fittings and maintenance) and Eastern Cleaning Supplies (for my commercial kitchen cleaning supplies). It’s been so easy and convenient having professional suppliers within arms reach of my business in the local area. I’m constantly surprised by how many of my business set-up and maintenance needs can be met by local businesses”.

I’ve also been a member of the BizHub co-working space at Ringwood for a number of years and attended many helpful business events there.
