Victorian Grants for Local Manufacturers

Coordinator- Bayswater Business Precinct - Maroondah, Knox and Yarra Ranges Council

The Made in Victoria – Manufacturing Growth Program supports small and medium sized manufacturers to introduce new technologies to expand operations, improve productivity and competitiveness across local and global supply chains and create new jobs and upskill and reskill workers.

Grants of between $50,000 to $250,000 are available. All grants must be matched by a minimum cash co-contribution of $2 for every $1 granted. The grants application closes 6th April 2023.

Grants can be used to purchase new equipment, improve existing products and processes, test new products and processes and develop supply chain capability.

Last year, the program awarded more than $10 million to 29 projects creating more than 550 new jobs across the state.

In 2022  DentaLife Australia, a local Maroondah manufacturer and research and development facility, specialising in dental and medical infection control products, successfully received funding for the development of its hospital grade disinfectant wipes.
