The BBP team recently visited Ashley and Drew Waters, the brothers behind Pak360. The inspiration for the company stemmed from their farming origins, where agricultural waste was reintegrated back into the cycle wherever possible.

Pak360 is an innovative company providing sustainable solutions for disposable takeaway packaging. Using alternative renewable fibres, they provide a circular solution to waste generated by everyday packaging.

Significant reforms over recent years with the ban on single use plastic have validated the Pak360 ethos, who were well ahead of the game, innovating in the renewable and compostable packaging space before such measures were imposed.

Ashley and Drew go that step further in reducing the impact of packaging on the environment. Their packaging is genuinely compostable, no green washing or gimmicks and to prove it, Pak360 provide compost collection bins to their customers (such as cafés and events) and collect used Pak360 packaging, food waste and coffee grounds as part of their compost collection service.
