Coordinator- Bayswater Business Precinct - Maroondah, Knox and Yarra Ranges Council

Improved amenity and connectivity throughout the Bayswater Business Precinct (BBP) is critical to ensuing the precinct remains attractive and functional as an employment destination.  As part of Maroondah City Council’s ongoing assets maintenance and upgrade schedule, Dandenong Creek- which runs through the BBP- underwent some recent upgrades

Dandenong Creek is an 8 kilometer  shared use path for cyclists and pedestrian and it is roughly 120mins walk from one end to the other. The trail runs through the BBP from Wantirna Road to Chandlers Lane and forms the boundary between Maroondah and Knox City councils. Scattered Along the creek trail there are interpretive signs, seating and shelter.

There are many points to access the Dandenong Creek Trail and things to do including bushwalking, shared pathways, dog walking, picnics.

The works program for the reconstruction of the Dandenong Creek Trail between Dorset Rd & Laura Reserve has now been completed.  As part of the upgrade, council removed the existing asphalt path and constructed a new three-meter-wide concrete path with increased vegetation.
