As the weather turns cold don’t ignore this safety warning.

At the moment we are all dealing with the current Covid-19 Coronavirus. Winter is coming on with the nights getting noticeably colder.

Heating systems are being turned on but has your gas heater been checked and serviced.

Just like all working equipment your heater is no different, it needs to be serviced. Just last week I attended a call to a heater not working. I was told this heater was 49yrs old and was horrified when I saw the condition it was in. It wasn’t good management, it was luck. This heater was condemned and thankfully the Client was receptive enough to understand that his mother was worth more than the cost of a new heater.

Many do not fully understand what we do, I get that. We are a highly technical trade and describing “Why is it so” is not always easy. Years of experience can not be replaced easily. Not every situation is identical, but they are similar. You might say we are OCD when it comes to gas safety.

As Licensed Master Plumber Gasfitters we must ensure that everything that we do is right. We cant afford mistakes and so we are strict on what we do.

If your Gas Heaters haven’t been serviced in the last twelve months it is advisable that you don’t wait, get them serviced now.
