Position Vacant: Laser Operator

ARB Kilsyth 4x 4 is a leading Australian Manufacturer.

Key Responsibilities of the role:

• Set up, operate and program the Laser machine
• Use overhead crane
• Manage incoming material
• Completing First Offs and Last Offs in accordance with the standard ARB Quality procedures
• Organising re-cuts when necessary
• Meeting daily production schedule
• Read and understand Engineering Drawings and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s)
• Maintain equipment to ensure it does not compromise safety
• Adhere to ARB’s OH&S Policies and Procedures including wearing correct PPE
• Attend daily tool box meetings
• Ensure workstation is clean and tidy at the end of a shift
• General housekeeping duties

Required Skills and Experience

• A team mindset
• Experience in metal fabrication manufacturing and processes
• Experience in CNC programming and operation would be highly regarded
• Basic computer skills
• Sound knowledge of OH&S and Environmental regulatory requirements
• A current LF Licence with ARB accreditation to drive on site
• Practical approach to safety including the wellbeing of colleagues

We are looking for staff on both day (7:30am to 3:36pm) and afternoon shift (3:30pm to 11:36pm)

The position is casual.
