Can you help the Knox Community Welfare Fund help others?
The Knox Community Welfare Fund (Knox Gives) and the five vital programs it supports needs your help. A large portion of their funding was due to the work of tireless volunteers at the Bayswater Op Shop, who raised a whopping $50K for the Knox Gives programs. However, the forced closure of the shop during the March 2020 lockdown virtually stopped further funding in its tracks.
While the shop has since reopened and expanded in the hope that it will increase their capacity for earning more money in the future, the income lost in 2020 is severely impacting this year’s funding. Knox Infolink, a not-for-profit organisation who is managing the fund, estimates that $50K is what is needed to keep programs running this year. They, along with their first corporate supporter, SGS Logistics, are encouraging businesses who have had a good first quarter to donate to the fund.
