Protecting what you have is the cornerstone of a solid financial plan. This may be done through risk mitigation using income protection insurance, life insurance, TPD insurance and trauma insurance. To protect we ask, ‘What would happen if….’ And we make sure that we cover off on those things.
2: Secure
Securing your financial future is the next step. Superannuation is your money, how it is invested matters. Your future relies on it. Taking some time to get your future secured by being strategic with your superannuation may pay dividends when you reach your retirement.
3: Grow
Grow your assets and your possibilities. With your current situation protected and your future secure, we can turn our mind to growing your assets. One of my favourite sayings is ‘spend what you need and invest the rest’. By placing money aside each pay you may be able to grow an asset that will increase your wealth, fund your lifestyle and even contribute to an early retirement.
By taking care of these three steps you can begin to ensure that you will meet your financial goals and live the life you want to live.
