The new Digital World of Work in Manufacturing

How can humans thrive in the digital era? What is our human competitive advantage?

Digital technologies are driving a profound transformation of advanced manufacturing and are advancing at a greater rate than ever before. For example, Artificial Intelligence (AI) driven technologies are becoming more sophisticated and are increasingly able to perform more complex cognitive tasks. Therefore, it is understandable that so much attention is being paid to understanding what these, and other technologies can do. But, we must remember that no matter how sophisticated technology is/becomes it is simply a tool for us to use.

This webinar focuses on four different human-centred dimensions of Industry 4.0: Mindset, Work, Learning, and Creating Value by discussing the following topics/insights

  • case studies
  • new research about Australian workplaces
  • the importance of a culture of collaboration
  • how to lead
