About your host

Colleen founded Building Connections along with her husband and business partner Phil in June 2019 with a vision to create a community for individuals and couples working in small businesses, particularly in the building industry. Business owners who are missing the connections outside of the daily business.

The Building Connections community provides small business owners with:

• face to face events – social and educational
• opportunities to build a network to grow your business in a relaxed and organic way.
• a place to connect and share experiences and bounce ideas.
• introductions to experts to take your business to the next level.
• Building Connections events are relaxed, fun, and supportive.

Our educational events (we refer to them as “Laugh and Learn” sessions) are a fun way of improving your motivation and lowering your stress.

Experts share their knowledge and experiences to support you in your personal and business growth. Then we have the quarterly social events that really make us feel a part of something bigger – Think of us as the social club within a big business created just for you and your family.
